Marc Statz is a being with an obsession with making music, dancing, tea and creating art. He learned ecstatic dance facilitation in Spain with Dance The Medicine, an international collective of established conscious and Ecstatic Dance organizers, movement facilitators and DJs.

Following Marc's set, John Stuart will be providing a closing Sound Journey.

Ecstatic dance is free-form movement and self-expression that allows individuals to explore their bodies and emotions through dance. It is a practice that encourages participants to move in a spontaneous and uninhibited manner without following any specific choreography or technique.

Held in a safe, welcoming and non-judgmental environment, it allows individuals to fully immerse themselves in their own movement and sensations.

Ecstatic dance embraces the idea that the body holds wisdom and that through movement, one can tap into their authentic self, release tension and experience a sense of liberation and joy.

One of the fundamental principles of ecstatic dance is the absence of judgment or criticism. Participants are encouraged to let go of self-consciousness and dance without concern for how they may appear to others.
