As we navigate life, having resources that assist us with our day to day is essential for our overall well-being. Especially, with our current global climate.


Below I have put together an offering of resources that can be utilized in addressing the full spectrum of well-being: mental acuity, physical strength, spiritual integrity and emotional maturity




Yoga Nidra





Yoga Nidra may be of service for the following:

🙏🏽 Increased levels of creativity, self-esteem/confidence, perceptual awareness, emotional connectivity/maturity, psychic development and overall mental acuity.


Of Tantric origin, Yoga Nidra is a systematic approach utilizing the rotation of consciousness through our body inducing complete mental, physical and emotional relaxation where our conscious mind and subconscious realm meet in harmony.


Rather than externalizing our experience, we return towards our own inner divinity.


Essentially, we rewire our neural pathways to “gradually go beyond the realm of conditional human sufferings which arise out of attachment and aversion for the duality of life experiences.”


One of the essential seeds that allow for the practice of Yoga Nidra to be as potent as it is, is the introduction of Sankalpa.


Sankalpa is a Sanskrit term in yogic philosophy that refers to a heartfelt desire, a solemn vow or a one-pointed resolve to align philosophically, psychologically and physiologically with an intended outcome that resonates deeply with our inner calling. Our sankalpa is a tool to connect, remember and experience our personal truth and dharmic path.


During the practice of Yoga Nidra, we are invited to speak our Sankalpa. This is a resolve we create in the form of a short statement that plants the seed we wish to sow in our daily experience. This is a very potent directive in the germination of our deep, inner, Soul felt Yes as it goes beyond our conditioned personality and emotional identification. The intent of Sankalpa is to influence and transform our patterns mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically at the subtle energetic level.

PROGRESSIVE RELAXATION



From those of us that experience anxiety, depression, muscle tension/spasms, insomnia, fatigue, neck/back pain, high blood pressure or symptoms of stress.


Progressive Relaxation is a deep muscle relaxation technique that requires no training or practice. It is based on the premise that our body reacts to anxiety-inducing thoughts and events with tension stored in our body. This stored energy triggers our nervous system as it sets the energy in reactionary motion resulting stress - primarily experienced as anxiety. Progressive Relaxation has proven results in the treatment of, and not limited to: insomnia, fatigue, muscle tension/spasms, neck/back pain, high blood pressure, anxiety and depression

SOUND EXPERIENCES




Sound Experiences have been the backbone of my practice for over 20 years - both group and personalized. Sound Experiences are a 60+ minute journey specifically tuned to the topic that is being explored through the use of solfeggio frequencies, binaural beats, isochronic tones and other sound healing techniques. Since I won't be hosting one at Dreams this month, I will be offering one for download dialed into the energetic of this month's topic - "ARISE"


This one rises from the depths and goes beyond the beyond into the heart of all hearts and the essence of creative expression.


With a particular focus on the core energetics and resonant frequency of what's going on globally, this Sound Experience is not for the weary.


In these times, we are being asked to rise...


------------------------------------------------------- How to Maximize Your Sound Experience


Incorporating breathwork with your Sound Experience deepens, expands and amplifies your practice. Please be sure to consult your physician to see if breathwork is a safe practice to implement.


Allow yourself to experience this fully. You will need approximately 65 minutes of uninterrupted time. Remember, this is for YOU.


Once you are in a comfortable position and have initiated the Sound Experience, allow your eyes to close. You may wish to place your right hand on your stomach and left hand on your chest to confirm your breathing pattern. You will begin to breathe deep into your diaphragm through your nose, as deep as you can. As you inhale, you will feel your right hand rise. Just when you cannot breathe any deeper, take a quick inhale again through your nose and release, exhaling completely through your mouth. Continue this breathing, rhythmically, for the first 3 songs. Don't worry whether you are doing the breathing correctly or if you have no idea when the 3rd song is. Simply focus on your breathing with integrity and allow for the experience to take on its own direction. By the 3rd song, you will be deep within your experience. At any point, if you are distracted, simply return to the breath.


At the conclusion of the Sound Experience, you may wish to take your time before engaging in any other activity. Nourish your body with healthy food and water. Offer gratitude for your experience and if anything came forward, you may wish to make note of it. These sound experiences are designed to reveal and bring discord into harmony.


What you will need: YOU!


Optional: yoga mat, a pillow for head and knees, a blanket, something to cover your eyes and any other items for your comfort in laying on the floor.
